Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Future Stacks does with personal information collected through this website, futurestacks.com. It is deliberately short, because this site does very little: there are no accounts, no logins and no shop — there is a contact form, and there is optional analytics you can decline.

This policy does not cover the Devfood platform. If you are a Devfood customer, or a customer of a restaurant that uses Devfood, the relevant policy is the one published at devfood.com/privacy-policy. Those are different systems holding different data, and one document describing both would be accurate about neither.

1. What we collect

Only two things.

• What you type into the contact form: your name, email address, optionally your business name, the topic you select, your message, and the fact that you ticked the consent box.
• Anonymous usage analytics, only if you allow it: which pages were viewed and roughly where in the world the visit came from. This is off until you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw at any time.

We do not ask for payment details on this site, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not buy contact lists.

2. Why we use it

• To answer your message — that is the whole purpose of the contact form.
• To follow up about the enquiry you made, which is what the consent checkbox covers. It is not permission to send you marketing about unrelated things.
• To understand which pages are useful, if you accepted analytics.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations where they apply.

3. Who else processes it

The suppliers this website depends on. Each is named rather than described generically:

• Netlify — hosting and form submissions. Contact-form entries are stored there before they reach our inbox.
• Google Analytics — page analytics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
• Crisp — the chat widget, where enabled. It stores the conversation so it can be continued.
• Our email provider — receiving and replying to your message.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

4. How long we keep it

Contact enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a returning question has context. Ask us to delete an enquiry and we will, unless a law requires us to keep it. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's own retention settings and is not linked to a name.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Exercise any of these by emailing contact@devfood.com. We will not make it difficult, and we do not charge for it.

6. Cookies

Analytics and chat cookies are off until you accept them. The Cookie Policy lists each one and what it does, and the "Cookie settings" link in the footer reopens the banner so you can change your mind.

7. Security

This site is served over HTTPS with a restrictive content-security policy, and access to submissions is limited to the people who need it. We make no claim beyond that — see the Devfood security page for the same discipline applied to the platform, including a plain list of the boundaries stated up front.

8. Children

This is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them; if you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new date. Where a change is material we will say what changed rather than leaving you to diff it.
